I’m taking part in Million Makers, raising funds for The King's Trust.

Taking on Scafell Pike… Virtually! 🏔️

As part of our Styled for Success Million Makers campaign, our New Look team is taking on Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain, on 17th September to raise money for The King’s Trust.

I had planned to be there climbing alongside the team, but unfortunately an injury means tackling an actual mountain at this moment in time is no longer an option. But I’m definitely not sitting this one out!

Instead, while the team heads up Scafell Pike, I’ll be completing my challenge virtually on the treadmill, recreating the distance and climb using the treadmill incline.

I’ll be covering the equivalent of the Scafell Pike route, including its roughly 900 metres of ascent, which means several hours on the treadmill and plenty of time at a serious incline! I’m expecting the challenge to take me around 5–6 hours to complete, so although I won’t get the views from the summit, my legs will definitely know I’ve climbed a mountain!

Most importantly, every step is to raise money for The King’s Trust, helping young people build confidence, develop skills and create better opportunities for their future.
