I’m taking part in Million Makers, raising funds for The King's Trust.

The King's Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed, no matter what their background or the challenges they are facing. The Prince's Trust NatWest Youth Index 2024 revealed that over a third (39%) of young people no longer feel in control of their future, with over a quarter (26%) feeling as though they are going to fail in life.

The courses offered by The Trust help young people aged 11-30 to develop essential life skills, get ready for work, access job opportunities and create a brighter future for themselves.

Wednesday 16th Sep
Slightly unconventional way to train, and I know what you are thinking, Kevin where's the mountain? but I had lots to do around the store and managed to hit 6.5 miles!

Training part 2

Monday 7th Sep
Decided to take a walk around Holme Pierrepont Watersports centre, which includes a 2000m rowing lake. Not very mountainous I know, but at least I get a few more miles in my legs!

Better get training!

Thought I'd start with a walk along the trent to the new footbridge that spans the river.
