Million Makers All Stars

To celebrate twenty years of the challenge, we are bringing back a group of outstanding individuals from across the years. Our All Stars team consists of Million Makers Alumni from a range of organisations, and sectors, who have returned to create an even bigger impact.

Alex Setchell

Alex took part in the 2020 challenge as chair of Team DEStinct from MoD, leading virtual events over Covid. As an All Star, Alex is looking forward to working with the diverse team and continuing to support young people.


Andy Harrison

Andy first took park in Million Makers with Direct Line in 2010, before volunteering as a mentor for young people and fundraising teams since. Now working as a Vulnerable Customers Lead at Fidelity International, Andy is ready to put his fundraising skills back into practice, and will be making a huge impact.

Elliott Russell

Elliott has been involved with the Million Makers challenge since 2019, from fundraising, mentoring teams, to leading some of our CPD-accredited skill sessions.As a Learning & Development leader at Boeing, Elliott has experience leading professional development issues, and will be continuing this legacy as an All Star.

Jack Hinchliffe

Jack took part in the 2020 challenge with the first HP UK team, leading initiatives such as 'Challenge44' and achieving 'Outstanding Individual award' for that year. 6 years later, now Account Director at AMD, Jack will be returning as an All Star to continue his fundraising impact. 

James McNamara

James first took part in the Million Makers challenge with NatWest in 2018, but has years' experience supporting young people through The King's Trust Enterprise programme. Still representing NatWest as Assistant Director, James will be returning as an All Star to continue his fundraising legacy.

Jenn Brown

Jenn took part in 2021 with Team Merlin from Rolls-Royce plc, leading a range of initiatives from bake sales to full-scale Christmas markets. Jenn has been a dedicated part of the MM community since, mentoring 4 recent Rolls-Royce plc teams to success. This year, she's returning as an All Star, ready to dust off her fundraising skills.

Nina Kellman

Nina took part in the 2024 Million Makers challenge, leading her 'My Future Career' initiative for primary school students to raise aspirations and introduce future career possibilities from an early age. As an All Star, Nina will expand this initiative, reaching even more schools and communities in support of The King's Trust.

Omar Sohail

Omar first became involved with The King's Trust in 2018, joining a Capgemini-sponsored programme. Since, Omar has developed his own career in Capgemini, taking part in Million Makers in 2021, alongside a range of other fundraising events! As an All Star, Omar will be collaborating on a range of fundraising projects.

Reetta Sahlman

Reetta took part in the 2023 challenge, chairing the internal King's Trust team, and leading initiatives from annual leave raffles to comedy events, raising the highest total achieved by a national internal team. With 4 years' experience supporting young people as a Youth Development Lead, Reetta will be bringing the impact and King's Trust cause to the All Stars team.

Sam Ellis

Sam first took part in the 2015 challenge, charing Team Dream Builders from Atos, and leading them to first place. Since, Sam has been a dedicated mentor to Atos fundraising teams, and has been recognised for his outstanding contributions throughout the challenge. Sam will be leading the All Stars team as Chair this year, all the way from Spain!

Sam Jons

Sam took part in the 2024 challenge, chairing Team Make Amazing Happen from CDW. After leading the team to an impressive 4th place in their first year in the challenge, Sam has reached new career heights, moving to Organised as Finance Director. As All Stars Finance Lead, this role should come in handy!

Simi Speight

Simi took part in the 2020 challenge as part of Taylor Wimpey's first ever Million Makers team. Despite taking part during the pandemic, the team persevered and raised an amazing first-time total. Whilst Simi is now based in Bermuda, working in Sales and Marketing Design, she will be returning as an All Star, bringing her Million Makers experience full circle!

All Stars Mentors

To support our All Stars fundraising team, we've also been joined by our team of dedicated King's Trust Mentors, to set us up for success!

Alison Mihail

Alison has been a volunteer with The King's Trust since 1996, having mentored a range of young people and corporate fundraisers over the years. Alongside Ann, Alison founded the Million Makers challenge twenty years ago, raising a phenomenal amount for The Trust in its first year. Since, Alison has been a Million Makers mentor, supporting teams such as Dell Technologies.

Ann Eldred

Ann has been a King's Trust volunteer since 2002, starting as a business mentor to support young people on the Enterprise programme. Alongside Alison, Ann launched the Million Makers challenge twenty years ago, and has since supported a range of fundraising teams, including Computer Associates, GSK, and Citrix. 


Gill Lowy


Gill has been with The King's Trust as a volunteer since 2006, supporting young people on a range of programmes, from Enterprise to Social Care. Gill has supported the Million Makers programme since 2016, working with teams from Xerox, Engie, AWS, and Atos!




Judy Chowdhury


Judy has volunteered with The King's Trust since 1993, initially supporting as Business Advisor before becoming a Next Steps Mentor and member of The Business Launch Group. Judy has since supported a range of fundraising teams in the Million Makers challenge, including Atos, Avanade, and Metro Bank.
