Breakfast Barre at BXR

The event will feature a discussion led by myself alongside the incredible trainer
Lara Hassan and Rhian Stephenson, the founder of ARTAH. We will explore the benefits of movement-based workouts and the significance of wellness supplements in enhancing our skincare, nutrition, and overall well-being, followed by a Pilates & Barre class led by Lara Hassan. After the class, enjoy complimentary healthy breakfast bowls provided by Frive, along with gifting packages from ARTAH.
Established in 2018 - The Kings Trust support's young women, between 11-30 years old, to develop essential life skills, work readiness and access to job opportunities to secure sustainable employment. They focus on young women who are most in need and who face adversity in the transition from childhood to adulthood. This includes young women from areas with greater economic deprivation, from minority ethnic backgrounds, those leaving the care system, dealing with disability or mental health challenges, or the domestic and sexual violence that young women are more likely to experience. The Trust has helped over 85,000 young women build better futures for themselves. They are also proud to say that 3 in 4 young people go into a positive outcome as a result of our support. However, the challenging landscape young women face means that your support is more important than ever.

ARTAH was founded in 2021 by Rhian Stephenson, a Nutritional Therapist and Naturopath, with the goal of helping people feel better and live better through clinical-grade food supplements and nutrition programmes. Since its inception, ARTAH has expanded from a small portfolio of specialist products to a complete supplement collection, using clinically proven, bioavailable actives with targeted dosages to achieve maximum results.

Lara is a multidisciplinary trainer and founder of Body by Lara. Her fitness career started in 2000 when she trained extensively in various methods such as Classical and Contemporary Pilates, Gyrokenisis and Gyrotonics, Garuda, Barre and Yoga, Pilates and Yoga for dancers and rehabilitation. Lara works with professional dancers, athletes and clients from all walks of life. She developed her own training technique, Body by Lara Sculpt, which she teaches at various studios in London.  In addition to teaching, Lara works on developing fitness concepts for major fitness studios, where she trains instructors to teach sculpt concepts. She has successfully run her own studios in London and has joined BXR to teach BXR sculpt. Prior to launching her studio in London, Lara spent many years traveling around the globe with clients, particularly the US, where she was fortunate enough to spend time working with great teachers and choreographers.  What Lara offers to the fitness world is a bridge between strength and graceful movement, merging the world of dance and resistance training, to create an empowering and transformative body conditioning method. Lara believes in making fitness accessible to all body types and needs, including rehabilitation. In January 2025 - Lara is set to launch her new studio CORE, at the Truman Brewery in Brick Lane, where she will offer her signature method, alongside Pilates apparatus, strength training workouts, as well as dance, yoga and various movement modalities.
