Thursday 27th FebWhy I’m Supporting The Brilliant Breakfast for International Women’s Day
This International Women’s Day, I’m proud to be hosting a Brilliant Breakfast to raise funds for The King’s Trust. This isn’t just about sharing a meal; it’s about empowering young women to build a brighter future.
For me, this cause hits close to home. I know firsthand how crucial it is to have access to alternative resources and support. My own journey wasn’t straightforward – I was in and out of education and left school without any GCSEs. I understand the challenges young women face when the traditional path isn’t an option.
But I also know that these challenges don’t have to be barriers. With the right opportunities, mentorship, and support systems, young women can overcome the odds and achieve incredible things. That’s why I’m passionate about supporting The King’s Trust.
The funds raised through this Brilliant Breakfast will go towards providing essential training courses, access to job opportunities, and even grants for work clothes, childcare, and transport. It’s about breaking down the barriers that too often hold young women back.
I believe in a future where every young woman has the chance to succeed, regardless of her background or circumstances. By supporting this cause, I’m helping to make that vision a reality – and you can too.
