Each one, Teach one

So I kept seeing these Brilliant Breakfast ads and my heart just wouldn't let it go! I was in two minds, fear mainly, what if I didn't raise enough money?, what if people didn't show up? I had to have a long stern talking to myself, what if people did support & did show up, not just for a breakfast but with their purses for these women also? I started to think about the times in life I let fear hold me back from doing something my heart wanted to do. I also began to think, what examples am I setting for my daughter? She's 9 and everything I do, she is watching me closely and learning. 

I feel it's very important to show my daughter the value of not just giving back but supporting other women on their journey and I believe it's never too early to start. 

We are asking for our friends and family to donate something small because a lot of 'littles' makes a mighty lot! 

I decided this is something I want my daughter to be apart of, so she is hosting our Brilliant Breakfast and has invited her close friends over for a brunch. 

We have also been having conversations about stewardship and what does that look like for her at 9 years old. We have been looking at the little everyday things we can do in life to help support others. 

All the money raised for the King's Trust can give young women the support they need to get back on their feet and into work so if you feel lead to, please donate.
