WE’VE REACHED OUR GOAL

We Did It! We’ve Hit Our Fundraising Goal. But We’re Just Getting Started!

We’re so excited to share that we’ve reached our fundraising goal ahead of this Sunday’s Afternoon Tea! A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, we couldn’t have done it without you. Your generosity is going to make such a difference, and we’re beyond grateful.

But the work isn’t over yet! We’re still aiming to raise even more, and we know this Sunday is going to be amazing. We can’t wait to see you all, enjoy some delicious food, and continue supporting this fantastic cause.

Here’s what we’re serving up:

Sandwich Fillings (Pick 3 for each sandwich):

• Grilled Jerk Chicken

• Roasted Veg

• Pesto

• Tuna Crunch

• Rocket

• Scotch Bonnet Jam

All served in soft focaccia bread – they’re going to be delicious!

Cakes & Sweet Treats:

• Victoria Sponge Cake

• Cinnamon Buns

• Spiced Bun & Cheese

• Scones

• Oreo Brownies

There’s definitely something for everyone, and we know you won’t want to miss out!

Afternoon tea with Chef Lauren Wilz & Hagans studio

We know firsthand how important financial independence is for young women. It is not just about having money in your pocket, it is about confidence, independence, and the chance to build a future on your own terms. That is why we are so passionate about raising funds to support young women as they get back on their feet and into work.

For us, working from a young age was a privilege. It gave us the skills, friendships, and experiences that shaped who we are today. We both run businesses now, but we still look back on our early jobs, especially in hospitality, as a time of growth, learning, and connection. Work is not just about making a living, it is about discovering your strengths, developing life skills, and being part of a community of like minded people.

But not every young woman has that opportunity. Many face financial barriers that make it difficult to take those first steps toward employment. That is where we come in and where you can help.

Join Us for a Special Fundraising Event

Date: Sunday 23rd March 2025

Time: 11am - 2pm

Location: Commonside Cafe, 1 Commonside East, Mitcham CR4 2QA

Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea featuring a selection of artisan cakes, all made by Chef Lauren Wilz. I will also be making freshly prepared sandwiches to complete the experience. Cakes and sandwiches will be available to purchase individually or as part of a bespoke afternoon tea platter.

At 12:30, join in on some fun, lighthearted afternoon tea games, hosted by Hagans Studio.

All proceeds will be donated to The Prince’s Trust, helping to support young women as they step into work and independence.
