Turning Surplus into Smiles at Shustoke Primary

Thursday 23rd Jul
What one person sees as surplus, another sees as opportunity. ♻️ Last week, we delivered a fantastic collection of materials to Shustoke CofE Primary School, where they'll be upcycled into an outdoor learning environment complete with marble runs and creative play features. Huge thanks to Site Managers Alex, Josh and Chris; our Customer Care team members Maria, Lily and Paul; as well as volunteers Sophie, Charlotte and Morgan for helping make it happen. It's a great example of how our Million Makers journey is supporting local communities while giving materials a second life. 🌱

I'm proud to be taking part in The King’s Trust Million Makers challenge as part of the Taylor Wimpey graduate team. Together, we're aiming to raise £50,000 to celebrate 50 years of The King’s Trust while creating a positive impact for people, places and the environment. Through our Your Impact campaign, we're delivering five sustainability-focused initiatives that support wellbeing, biodiversity and stronger communities. Alongside helping to deliver these initiatives, I'm also raising funds for the life-changing work of The King’s Trust, helping young people in the UK build brighter futures. Any support would be hugely appreciated.
