Why I'm Taking Part in Million Makers

When I joined the GXO Graduate Programme, I was looking for opportunities that would challenge me, broaden my experience, and allow me to make a genuine difference. Million Makers has given me the chance to do all three.

Supporting The King’s Trust is something I’m incredibly proud to be part of. The charity plays a vital role in helping young people build confidence, develop skills, and access opportunities that can have a lasting impact on their lives. Knowing that our efforts can contribute towards that mission is a huge motivator for me.

As part of Team GXO – Millions in Motion, we're aiming to make a meaningful impact while also demonstrating what can be achieved when people come together behind a common cause. The programme has already provided opportunities to work with colleagues from different backgrounds, collaborate with senior leaders, and engage with people across our wider network.

For me personally, Million Makers is about more than fundraising. It's about pushing myself outside of my comfort zone, developing new skills, and learning how to turn ideas into results. From planning and organising activities to building relationships and overcoming challenges, every stage of the journey is helping me grow both professionally and personally.

One of the most rewarding aspects has been seeing how willing people are to get involved. Whether it's colleagues giving their time, businesses offering support, or individuals making donations, there is a real sense of collective purpose behind what we're trying to achieve.

The King's Trust focuses on helping young people realise their potential, and that's something I strongly believe in. Everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their starting point. If our fundraising efforts can help even a small number of young people access the support they need to build a brighter future, then every hour invested will have been worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our journey so far. Every donation, share, and conversation helps us get closer to our goal and, most importantly, helps The King's Trust continue its incredible work.

Taking the Leap for The King's Trust

Friday 3rd Jul

🪂 I'm Taking the Leap for The Million Makers!

At the end of August, I'll be stepping out of an aircraft and taking on a 15,000ft tandem skydive to raise money for The King's Trust.

I'll be freefalling at speeds of over 120mph to support a charity that gives young people the confidence, skills and opportunities they need to build brighter futures.

The King's Trust helps young people overcome barriers to employment, education and training by providing mentoring, practical support and opportunities that can genuinely change lives.

As part of The King's Trust Million Makers Challenge, I'm aiming to raise £1,000 before jump day. Every pound raised will go towards helping young people unlock their potential and build a brighter future.

I've set myself a target of £1,000, and thanks to some incredibly generous early supporters, I'm already on my way. If you can spare anything at all—whether it's £5, £10 or more—I'd be hugely grateful.

If you're unable to donate, simply sharing this page with friends, family or colleagues would mean just as much.

Every donation helps change a young person's future... and gives me one more reason not to back out when that aircraft door opens!

Thank you so much for your support.
