We are doing a charity kayak race (with forfeits!)

We are going to be doing an 18 mile race down the river Trent in kayaks to raise money for the Kings Trust, donate to my page to make me do some embarrassing forfeits! (See details below)

Trivia – nominated team member must answer a question or get splashed with water |
£5 could pay for a young person to travel to a job interview |

per 5 water balloons/full water gun aimed at person of your choice |
£10 could fund a call to our helpline, enabling a vulnerable young person to gain the critical advice they need |

Karaoke, nominated team member must sing a song of your choosing live on social media |
£15 could buy a new copy of a birth certificate for a young person from a challenging background, helping them unlock life-changing opportunities |

Nominated team must Paddle backwards for 10 minutes |
£20 could pay for a young person to receive support from an experienced King's Trust youth worker for an hour |

Nominated team must Paddle without paddles for 10 minutes (e.g. you have to use other items like a ladle plank of wood etc) |
£25 could pay for an isolated young person to travel to a one-week King’s Trust course that will help them gain the vital skills and work experience they need |

Nominated team member must wear a costume for 1 hour (e.g. tutu, pirate hat) |
£26 could help us reach more young people, enabling us to shout about the support we can offer to those who need us most |

Sock puppet commentary – nominated team member must narrate 10 minutes of the race with a sock puppet |
£30 could provide one young person with a gift of a mentor to provide vital guidance and support |

Name the boat – this will be displayed on the boat whilst we kayak the Trent |
£50 could cover the cost of a young person's commute before their first pay check, a barrier that could otherwise prevent them from holding down their first job |

Dance break whilst kayaking (almost guaranteed fall in…) |
£70 could support a young person experiencing incredible adversity with hours of dedicated 1-1 support from our youth workers |

Add 5K to race – add 5 kilometres the race distance of a team of your choice. |
£100 could cover the cost of essential equipment a young entrepreneur needs to launch their business |
