Ideally you would host your breakfast in March 2026 but if you need to host at another time that's ok too! International Women’s Day is on 8th March 2026 and would be a great time to host and show your support for young women.  

Sign up to host on our registration page. An online fundraising page will be created automatically as part of your registration.

Once you have registered you will receive an email with a link to your online fundraising page. You can log in at any time to update your page, download invites, posters and other materials you may need to make your Brilliant Breakfast the best it can be. Once you've decided where you’re going to host your breakfast and invited your guests, you just need to decide what your breakfast menu will be. Whether you're hosting at home or work, you can make breakfast as simple or as elaborate as you wish - from toast and a cup of tea to croissants and pastries from your local bakery, anything goes! Some hosts even work with local cafes to host their Brilliant Breakfast, particularly if there are lots of guests attending.  

For any guests that you invite and are unable to make it on the day, it’s worth sharing your online page with them as they may still want to support you by donating.

Yes, there are links to videos within the dashboard of your online fundraising account. You can play this at your breakfast or even send a link to your guests in advance as a handy reminder, whilst also letting them know a bit more about The Brilliant Breakfast and the work of The King's Trust.

Yes, during registration you will be asked whether you are hosting with colleagues and if you would like to create or join an organisation.  

Only one person should create the organisation, and they will automatically be made Organisation Captain. If your organisation has already been created you should see the name in the drop down list. If it's not showing in the dropdown list then it may be set to private; your organisation captain can change this in their settings.

All the money raised from the Change a Girl’s Life campaign supports young women. Wherever possible we would like to be able to use this money wherever it is needed most. If you would like to restrict your donation to be used in a specific region or for a specific programme then please get in touch with us, prior to making your donation, at changeagirlslife@kingstrust.org.uk 

For every £1 donated, 84p is spent directly on activities that change young lives. 16p is spent on support costs and fundraising so that we can help even more young people. 

Gift Aid is a simple scheme that allows charities to recover the tax already paid on donations made in the last four years at no extra cost to you. By reclaiming tax from Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs (HMRC), Gift Aid is a great way for you to help The King’s Trust maximise the value of its donations. That means that every £1 you donate could be worth an extra 25 pence to us.
