What is Change a Girl's Life?

Change a Girl’s Life is your chance to help young women facing hardship build the future they deserve.

Whether you shop, donate, or host a Brilliant Breakfast, every action you take helps raise vital funds to support young women facing barriers into work. With your help, The King's Trust can provide access to job opportunities, confidence-building support, and the tools young women need to step into a future that’s truly theirs.

When is Change a Girl's Life?

Change a Girl’s Life takes place during International Women’s Month in March.

Whilst many of our partner brands raise funds during March, others support Change a Girl’s Life all year round. Head to our shop page to see which brands are currently raising funds to help young women launch their future.

Most people choose to host a Brilliant Breakfast during March to celebrate International Women’s month. But you can pick a date that suits you.

Fundraise to Change a Girl's Life

Whether it’s tea and toast at home or a full spread with friends and colleagues, your Brilliant Breakfast can help Change a Girl’s Life.

The money you raise will help offer the support a young woman needs to take her next step. Her future could start at your breakfast table.

How will your fundraising Change a Girl's Life?

Every day, over 900,000 young people in the UK wake up with no job, no training, and no education to go to. For young women, especially those from ethnic minority backgrounds, living with a disability, or facing mental health challenges, the barriers to employment can feel overwhelming.

Your fundraising helps break those barriers. Many young women feel hopeless about their future - struggling with low confidence, financial instability, and caring responsibilities. But with your support, The King’s Trust can offer free courses, grants, and ongoing mentorship to help them build the skills, confidence and opportunities they need to step into work and take control of their future.

Change a Girl’s Life, and you won’t just help young women find a job - you’ll help them believe in themselves, own their future, and soar.
