Final steps at the farm

Final steps of the month finishing at the farm with my Son.

Another county bites the dust

Yesterday my steps were taken in Norfolk, with my grandchildren by my side again. My journey has seen many adventures in different locations and Great memories made.

Scotney casle

We went for an adventure today to Scotney Castle. what great way to get the steps in. while we were there Flossy solved her first cold case murder mystery. Well done Flossy!!!

Full steam ahead

Steam trains, excited kiddies as well as the adults. meeting Bluey the dog, then fish and chips for dinner. A great day had by all and a fun way to do my steps.

Little helper

Today I had a little helper on my steps 🥰🥰

Stepping into sunday

My steps today saw me watching my hubby doing his hobby which is clay pigeon shooting , a very cold and muddy day …. stomping about in the dirt and puddles in my boots was very enjoyable . My grandsons would be so jealous 🤣🤣🥾🥾

Take a walk on the wild side 🦁🐯🐻

Todays steps were around Colchester Zoo, with my grandson. A cold day didn’t keep the animals away and it was nice to see the tiger up close and personal … good job for toughened glass🤣

Back to reality

Back from the LAKE District and now walking my steps round LAKEside shopping centre , during my lunch break certainly not the same views 🤣🤣

Week one and done!

First week completed and managed to complete over 10k each day! Don’t forget to hit that sponsor button and help raise money for such a good cause!! Now to begin week two 😊

Robins , rainbows and rambling

Lovely walk through Ambleside today , pub lunch followed by a movie at the smallest cinema in the Uk. Evening walk to Derwent lake , Robin, duck and geese feeding, well on my way to 100,000 steps ….

Cold but beautiful day

waterfalls , walking along the river Greta, robin feeding and drinks by the fireside … day 2 in Keswick…. oh and 25,000 steps

We're facing 10,000 steps a day in February

Team Mappin and Webb Lakeside are taking on the Future Steps challenge this February for The King's Trust – facing 10,000 steps a day to help transform the lives of young people in the UK.

From the cost of living crisis to an unprecedented lack of opportunity, young people face a range of difficulties in today’s society. The King's Trust is committed to helping them. Working in a variety of areas, including training, education and emotional wellbeing, to ensure that people from all backgrounds get the support they deserve. A donation of just £10 could fund a call to The King's Trust helpline, enabling a vulnerable young person to gain the critical advice they need.

So, whether it’s indoors or outdoors, walking, running or rolling, it all goes toward supporting the cause. Every step, and every penny, really does count. Please help me to support The Kings’s Trust by sponsoring us and sharing our page.
