Me vs 10,000 steps
At a time when 900,000 young people in the UK are out of work – enough to form the UK’s third biggest city! The King’s Trust are committed to ending youth unemployment, and I’m doing my bit to support. I am taking on the Future Steps challenge – completing 10,000 steps a day throughout February and raising vital funds to support young people across the UK. A donation of just £12 could fund a call to The King's Trust helpline, enabling a young person facing adversity to gain the critical advice they need. Every penny raised will help break down barriers, open doors and support young people to build the confidence and skills they need to find work. Please consider donating to my page. Wednesday 28th Jan I opened the Apple Health App for the first time today on the eve of the challenge. Just realised that 10,000 steps is double my daily average during the week! Trying to work out my strategy. Do I double my daily walk or cram at the weekend with a trek! Time will tell, but gut is telling me not to leave too much to do at the weekend.Thank you to my Sponsors
