Target steps
Me VS 10,000 steps - First Weekend

This February, I’ve taken on the Future Steps Challenge for The King’s Trust – a charity that does incredible work helping young people in the UK overcome adversity and build brighter futures. The challenge is simple but powerful: walk 10,000 steps a day for the whole month. That’s 10,000 steps every day to raise awareness and funds for an important cause.
Why The King’s Trust?
Right now, young people in the UK are facing some of the toughest challenges in a generation. From the cost of living crisis to a lack of opportunities, it’s harder than ever for many young people to see a way forward. The King’s Trust exists to support those who have faced disadvantage and hardship, helping them develop the confidence and skills they need to move into work, education, and training.
Every penny raised through this challenge goes directly toward supporting these young people, and it’s amasing to think that a donation as small as £10 can fund a crucial call to The King’s Trust helpline. This helpline offers vital advice and guidance, often giving young people the clarity and direction they need to take their next steps.
A personal milestone
As I kick off this challenge, my first weekend has been an exciting one! I had the chance to take a trip to Edinburgh for the rugby and, of course, enjoy the thrill of a win at Murrayfield. It was a great way to get those steps in – walking around the city, soaking in the atmosphere, and cheering on my team. It’s moments like these that remind me why this challenge matters: every step taken not only helps me stay active but also contributes to making a difference for someone in need.
Support the cause
Whether you're walking, running, or rolling – it all counts. Every step brings us closer to supporting young people and giving them the tools they need to succeed. If you’d like to help me raise funds for The King’s Trust, I’d be incredibly grateful for any donations. Together, we can make a real impact in the lives of young people who need it most.
Thank you so much for your support!
