We're taking part in Million Makers Challenge, raising funds for The King’s Trust. But Why?
As a team, we are proud to be participating in the King's Trust Million Makers Challenge to support a cause that creates life-changing opportunities for young people across the UK.
The King's Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed, regardless of their background or the challenges they face. However, recent findings from the King's Trust Youth Index 2024 highlight the growing difficulties facing young people today.
Through its programmes and courses, The King's Trust helps young people aged 11–30 build confidence, develop essential life skills, prepare for employment, access job opportunities and create brighter, more positive futures. The support provided by the charity has a lasting impact, helping individuals overcome barriers and realise their potential.
For our team, Million Makers is about more than fundraising. It is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of young people while developing our own skills in leadership, communication, project management and teamwork. As an apprentice-led team, we are passionate about supporting others in gaining access to the opportunities, guidance and development that can help shape successful futures.
Throughout the challenge, we will be delivering a range of fundraising initiatives aimed at bringing together colleagues, clients, friends and our wider communities. Every donation, no matter the size, will help The King's Trust continue its vital work supporting young people to build confidence, gain employment and achieve their ambitions.
