I’m Skydiving to Raise £125,000 for The King’s Trust with Sony Heroes
Yes - I’m jumping out of a plane.
I am going to be skydiving alongside a few other Sony employees dressed as characters from the Sony universe (yes, really.) in the name of charity.
I’m proud to be Co-Chair for Sony Heroes Fundraising this year, and together we’re aiming to raise £125,000 by December 2025 for The King’s Trust.
As part of this challenge, we’re taking on a range of fun (and slightly terrifying) initiatives - skydiving being one of them. But this is about more than stunts - it’s about supporting a cause that genuinely changes lives.
The King’s Trust helps young people aged 11 to 30 who have faced and are currently facing complex challenges, such as disadvantaged backgrounds, care leavers and those with limited family support, young people struggling with mental health, and those at risk of, or currently experiencing, unemployment.
As a former apprentice, I know how powerful opportunity and support can be. That’s why this work matters - because every young person deserves the chance to thrive, no matter their starting point. The King’s Trust helps young people aged 11–30 build confidence, gain skills, and move into employment, education or training. At a time when 39% of young people feel they’ve lost control of their lives, that support is more crucial than ever.
If you believe in helping the next generation get a fair shot - and want to see some of us freefalling in superhero outfits - please donate.
Every contribution matters. Every pound brings us closer to changing a life.
