I'm cycling miles to change young lives from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle

On Sunday 5 October, I will be taking part in Palace to Palace and cycling 45 or 90 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle and raising fund for the King’s Trust.

The King's Trust has tailored programmes and provides long-term support give young people the practical skills and emotional resilience to pick themselves back up and create their own positive futures.

Following a cost of living crisis and pandemic which impacted their education, early careers and wellbeing, there are now almost 1 million young people not currently in work, education or training.

Please help me to support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace to Palace cycle ride and sharing my page. Just a £20 donation could provide one young person with an inspiring two hours of work experience in a stable job in a thriving sector

Thursday 2nd Oct

A Thought That Finally Took Root: My Journey Toward Giving Back

Wednesday 1st Oct

For years, a quiet thought lingered at the back of my mind—a desire to support those in need, to contribute meaningfully to society. It wasn’t loud or demanding, but it was persistent. Yet somehow, every time I considered acting on it, something would pull me away. A busy schedule, a fleeting doubt, or simply the inertia of daily life. The thought remained just that—a thought.

But this time was different.

Encouraged by my wife Smita Pandey—who is not only my life partner but also a skilled CBT therapist, life coach based in London—I decided to take on a challenge that would push me beyond my comfort zone. Her conviction and clarity helped me see that giving back doesn’t always require grand gestures. Sometimes, it’s about showing up, being present, and doing something that stretches your physical and mental boundaries for a greater cause.

Together, we began exploring ways to make a meaningful impact. We wanted to do something that wasn’t just symbolic, but transformative—for ourselves and for others. The idea was simple: find a challenge that tests our limits and channels that energy into something that benefits the community.

This journey wasn’t just about charity or volunteering. It was about redefining purpose. It was about aligning our personal growth with social contribution. And most importantly, it was about finally acting on that lingering thought that had waited so long to be heard.

“Whosoever searches, finds”

Because sometimes, all it takes is one moment of courage, one supportive nudge, and one meaningful challenge to turn a thought into action.
