I'm walking/running 13 miles on Sunday 4 October to change young lives!

A few months ago I was asked by my good friend to have a chat with a young lady fresh out of University with all excellent grades and brilliant pre-University education , and give her advice on how to find first job. And it was an eye-opening moment for me. Every year its gets more and more difficult for young individuals to get to the job market regardless of the education they get. This lady had A*s throughout her learning career, and yet, first steps were incredibly difficult.

I am a mom of three wonderful daughters, and I want them amongst many others to feel happy with their first career steps, and truly supported. At a time where almost a million young people in the UK are out of work, The King’s Trust are committed to ending youth unemployment.

We have just moved houses, schools...our complete life...and yet  I’ve challenged myself to walk a half marathon across London on Oct 4th and raise funds to help young people get into work as truly believe day-to-day challenges will be always there but this opportunity to help others won’t !

Every penny raised will help break down barriers, open doors and support young people to build the confidence and skills they need to find work.

Please help me support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace to Palace challenge and sharing my page to double the impact.
