I'm 🚴🏼 cycling 💯 miles on Sunday, 4 October, to change young lives!

I’m taking on the Ultra 100-mile #PalacetoPalace route - the biggest challenge to celebrate The King's Trust's 50th anniversary and help change young lives.

Starting on The Mall, past iconic London landmarks, down to Surrey and into Windsor 🏰, before heading back into the city to finish at Battersea Park.

Founded in 1976 by then-Prince Charles, now King Charles III, The King's Trust (formerly known as The Prince's Trust) provides free courses, job training, and business start-up support. It helps young people aged 11 to 30 build essential life skills and confidence. You’ve seen the advert on the big cinema screen!

This event brings together my 🚴🏼 passion and a good cause 🎗️

I love cycling, and helping young people prepare for the job market with confidence and optimism is something I care about.

Having been involved in setting up apprenticeships, visiting colleges to give talks to young students at HRUC (Harrow, Richmond & Uxbridge Colleges), and working with marginalised groups with With Insight Education, supporting The King's Trust mission to end youth unemployment feels like a natural fit. In my role as Heathrow Community Trust trustee, I also sit on the Projects for Young People Grant panel.

👉 At a time when almost a million young people in the UK are out of work, The King’s Trust is committed to ending youth unemployment.

Every penny raised will help break down barriers, open doors, and support young people in building the confidence and skills they need to find work.

While every donation helps, a donation of £26 could cover the cost of travel for an isolated young person to attend a one-week King’s Trust course, helping them build vital skills and gain valuable work experience.
