I'm cycling miles to change young lives from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle
On Sunday, 6th October, I will be taking part in the Palace to Palace ride, cycling 90 miles (the furthest I’ve ever cycled in a single day) from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle, and raising funds for The King’s Trust.
The King's Trust offers tailored programs and long-term support, providing young people with the practical skills and emotional resilience they need to rebuild their lives and create positive futures.
The recent Class of Covid report reveals that almost half of young people in the UK (49%) feel anxious about their future on a daily basis, with 59% saying it feels frightening for their generation. The findings suggest that the impact of the pandemic—along with the ongoing cost-of-living crisis—is taking a toll on young people, as 45% report that anxiety about recent political and economic events affects them daily. More than a third (35%) feel their lives are spiraling out of control, and for those from lower-income backgrounds, this figure increases to 41%.
Please help me support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace to Palace cycle ride and sharing my page. A donation of just £20 could provide a young person with an experienced youth worker for an hour, helping to build their confidence, resilience, and motivation during these challenging times.
