I'm cycling miles to change young lives from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle

On Sunday 5 October, I will be taking part in Palace to Palace and cycling 45 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle and raising fund for the King’s Trust.

The King's Trust has tailored programmes and provides long-term support give young people the practical skills and emotional resilience to pick themselves back up and create their own positive futures.

Following a cost of living crisis and pandemic which impacted their education, early careers and wellbeing, there are now almost 1 million young people not currently in work, education or training.

Please help me to support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace to Palace cycle ride and sharing my page. Just a £20 donation could provide one young person with an inspiring two hours of work experience in a stable job in a thriving sector

My Updates

Almost at the end, can see Windsor Castle!

Sunday 5th Oct
If you look closely you can see it in the distance 😂

At the start on The Mall

Sunday 5th Oct
Not going to lie, it was fun being able to cycle freely on The Mall!

I did it!

Sunday 5th Oct
It was painful at the end with high winds and an unexpected very steep hill, but I managed to do the ride in under 4 hours! Massively lucked out with the weather, it was a glorious day and what made it even better was the fact that you all were cheering me on with your incredibly generous donations. The King’s Trust is an amazing organisation and I hope to raise ever more money for them in the future. Special thanks to Phoebe, Effie and Oban who were at the end waiting for me with their signs in hand!!

Finished my last proper ride before the event!

Saturday 27th Sep
Just finished my last proper ride before the event, was a 30km cycle through Esher, Cobham and then back through Oxshott and Hampton Court.  Feeling a little sore but I think I’m up to the challenge!  Thanks again for all your support, it’s spurring me on when those hills get tough!!

Huge thank you!

Thursday 18th Sep
Thank you all so much for your kind donations, I never thought I’d need to increase my fundraising target for a second time!  It’s for such a great cause and I’m over the moon that people have taken the time and their money to support me in my cycle.  I’m going to set a slightly ambitious target between now and the cycle, and I’ll try to upload some pictures/updates of my cycles (I had hoped I could upload my Strava rides), so keep an eye out for those!

Less than 3 weeks to go!

Monday 15th Sep
This ride has come around rather quickly, so expect to see more updates of my rides between now and the cycle!

Thank you to my Sponsors
