I'm cycling miles to change young lives from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle

On Sunday 5 October, Rhys and I will be taking part in Palace to Palace and cycling 45miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle and raising fund for the King’s Trust.

The King's Trust has tailored programmes and provides long-term support give young people the practical skills and emotional resilience to pick themselves back up and create their own positive futures.

Following a cost of living crisis and pandemic which impacted their education, early careers and wellbeing, there are now almost 1 million young people not currently in work, education or training.

Please help us to support The King's Trust by sponsoring our Palace to Palace cycle ride and sharing my page. Just a £20 donation could provide one young person with an inspiring two hours of work experience in a stable job in a thriving sector

What makes this event so meaningful to me is how deeply I care about supporting young people at the very start of their careers, especially as my own 17-year-old son is forging his path right now. Dylan has been so fortunate to receive a great education and to have access to 6th-form opportunities—but that’s not the reality for everyone.

That’s where The King’s Trust comes in. This UK’s leading youth charity helps young people aged 11 to 30, especially those facing adversity or from disadvantaged backgrounds, to build the confidence, skills, and motivation to live, learn, and earn.
They support everything from career training and employment programmes to entrepreneurship and education, including providing practical courses, mentorship, and even financial backing for young people to set up in business or find meaningful work.
By riding in this event, I'm hoping to do my bit to break down barriers and help open the same doors for others—doors that, in my son’s case, were already open. The ride isn’t just a personal challenge—it’s a chance to be part of enabling others to stand on their own feet, to have confidence, opportunity, and a chance at shaping their own futures.
So, here’s where you come in: I’d really appreciate your cheers, encouragement, and support. If you’d like to contribute to this incredible cause and help make a difference for young people who didn’t have the same advantages, I’d be so grateful. Every donation helps fuel The King’s Trust’s work and gives young people a fairer shot at success.
Here’s to riding for something bigger than ourselves—and to the next generation finding their own path. Bring on those 45 miles (and the hills!), October—I’m coming for you! 🚴‍♂️✨
