On 4th October, I'm cycling 100 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor and back in one day. Help me make every mile count.
I'm taking on the Palace to Palace Ultra: a 100-mile ride through London, Richmond Park, and the Surrey countryside, out to Windsor Castle and back to finish in Battersea Park. No stopping. No excuses. Just legs, road, and a lot of water stops.
I ride most days already commuting through London, chasing longer routes at weekends but 100 miles in a single day is a different challenge entirely. I'm doing it for The King's Trust, because every mile I ride raises money to help young people who don't have it easy get a real shot: into jobs, into training, into a future they can build for themselves.
Here's the deal: youth unemployment isn't going away on its own. The King's Trust has spent 50 years stepping in where it counts; mentoring, funding, opening doors for young people who've hit a wall. Every pound raised goes straight into that work.
So, will you back me? Whatever you can chip in gets me further, and gets more young people the support they need. Sponsor a mile. Sponsor the whole ride. Just sponsor something.
100 miles. One day. Let's go.
