I'm walking miles on Sunday 4 October to change young lives!
At a time where almost a million young people in the UK are out of work, The King’s Trust are committed to ending youth unemployment, and I’m doing my part by taking on Palace to Palace! I’ve challenged myself to walk a half marathon across London and raise funds to help young people get into work.
The King's Trust (formerly known as The Prince’s Trust) is a youth charity providing long-term support and tailored programmes that empower young people across the UK to transform their lives. Every penny raised will help break down barriers, open doors and support young people to build the confidence and skills they need to find work.
Please help me support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace to Palace challenge and sharing my page to double the impact. A donation of £26 could cover the cost of travel for an isolated young person to attend a one-week King’s Trust course, helping them build vital skills and gain valuable work experience.

Monday 7th SepI’m walking 13.1 miles to help give young people a better start 💛
On Sunday 4 October, I’m taking on the Palace to Palace Walk for The King’s Trust, a 13.1 mile half marathon through London.
This cause feels particularly close to home for me. I have a 16 year old who is trying to find a part time job, and seeing first hand just how difficult it can be for young people to get that first opportunity has really made me think.
When I was that age, part time jobs felt much easier to come by. That first job wasn’t just about earning some money. It was where you started learning about responsibility, building confidence, dealing with people and finding your place in the working world.
Today, far too many young people are struggling to get that first foot on the ladder. Nearly one million 16 to 24 year olds in the UK are currently not in education, employment or training.
That’s why I’m walking for The King’s Trust, which helps young people overcome barriers, build skills and confidence, and find opportunities to move forward.
I love walking, but 13.1 miles is definitely going to be a challenge for me! Every mile will be a reminder of why I signed up, because every young person deserves the opportunity to build a future for themselves.
If you’re able to sponsor me, no matter how much, I’d be incredibly grateful. If you can’t donate, sharing my page would mean just as much.
Thank you for supporting me and, more importantly, for supporting young people who just need someone to open that first door. 💛
