Donate to Lynden and help them hit their goal of £150!

I'm cycling miles to change young lives from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle

On Sunday 5 October, I will be taking part in Palace to Palace and cycling 45 or 90 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle and raising fund for the King’s Trust.

The King's Trust has tailored programmes and provides long-term support give young people the practical skills and emotional resilience to pick themselves back up and create their own positive futures.

Following a cost of living crisis and pandemic which impacted their education, early careers and wellbeing, there are now almost 1 million young people not currently in work, education or training. 

Please help me to support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace to Palace cycle ride and sharing my page. Just a £20 donation could provide one young person with an inspiring two hours of work experience in a stable job in a thriving sector

Friday 5th Sep
Well with four weeks to go I managed to get in the bike! Well a peloton anyway. Did 10 miles each time for an hour. 
The old bum definitely needs more padding but the legs held out okay. 
Off to ride in the morning for an hour on the mountain bike. See how that goes!

Sunday 31st Aug
When I saw this fundraiser I thought yeah I’m in for that about time I did something new. Bummer I missed this spot! 
Time passed by and yay I got the spot it’s in four weeks! Ouch this could hurt! 

Still it’s the challenge that makes it memorable right! So here we go. Hopefully I’ll get on the bike this week no I must get in the bike this week!

Question is do I try and find a better bike or keep it for the challenge factor. I think that will depend on the first ride.
