I'm cycling miles to change young lives from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle

On Sunday 5 October, I will be taking part in Palace to Palace and cycling 45 or 90 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle and raising fund for the King’s Trust.

The King's Trust has tailored programmes and provides long-term support give young people the practical skills and emotional resilience to pick themselves back up and create their own positive futures.

Following a cost of living crisis and pandemic which impacted their education, early careers and wellbeing, there are now almost 1 million young people not currently in work, education or training.

Please help me to support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace to Palace cycle ride and sharing my page. Just a £20 donation could provide one young person with an inspiring two hours of work experience in a stable job in a thriving sector

Thankfully Storm Amy was on her way out but there was still a strong headwind as we rode east to west, from Buckingham Palace, through Richmond Park, into Surrey and ending up the long walk to Windsor Castle and across the finish line at the racecourse. Thighs on fire after some tough hills. Thanks to everyone who sponsored - hugely appreciated

Beautiful blue skies on a Sunday morning, where clunky gears met with very steep hills. Views were worth the climb!

35 mille round trip to Foxton Locks

Thursday 10th Jul

Seemed a good idea at the time to cycle to Foxton Locks (the largest staircase of locks in Britain). 27 degrees at 6pm, vertical hills and a canal tow path that was NOT suitable for a road bike. It was a challenge but we did it and the landscapes and wildlife were stunningly beautiful
