I'm cycling 90 miles to change young lives from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle

On Sunday 5 October, I’ll be taking part in the Palace to Palace cycle ride - covering 90 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle - to raise funds for The King’s Trust.

The King’s Trust delivers tailored programmes and long-term support to help young people build practical skills, emotional resilience, and brighter futures. With nearly 1 million young people currently not in work, education, or training, the need for support has never been greater - especially following the pandemic and cost-of-living crisis.

Your support can make a real difference. Just £20 could give a young person two hours of inspiring work experience in a thriving sector. Any amount you can spare is deeply appreciated.

Please consider sponsoring my ride and sharing my fundraising page - together, we can help more young people take their next step forward.

My Updates

Back in the saddle, bigtime

Saturday 20th Sep
Gruelling 60 miler today on tough, mixed terrain. At points the route took us over straight up farmland, juddering over tractor tracks - Amy was not loving life… But she showed incredible grit and I think I was the one who moaned most out of the 2 of us!
Big psychological victory to get that done, as I think the real one, while 50% further, is on roads, so should be way easier on the body.
Next weekend we’ll aim for a roady ~75miler for our final training ride, to close the distance gap.

Training update: A bumpy week

Tuesday 9th Sep

Last week threw a few unexpected challenges my way - a sprained neck from deadlifts and overhead presses (a recurring issue I clearly need to rethink), and a mysterious rib injury I still can’t explain. Taking the weekend off from cycling was tough, especially with such an epic distance ahead in just a few weeks, but I’m confident the rest will pay off and allow me to push harder from this weekend onwards.

Also - I’ve officially started promoting my fundraising page, so now there’s no turning back! The countdown is on, and I’m all in.
