I'm walking miles on Sunday 4 October to change young lives!

At a time where almost a million young people in the UK are out of work, The King’s Trust are committed to ending youth unemployment, and I’m doing my part by taking on Palace to Palace! I’ve challenged myself to walk a half marathon across London and raise funds to help young people get into work.

The King's Trust (formerly known as The Prince’s Trust) is a youth charity providing long-term support and tailored programmes that empower young people across the UK to transform their lives. Every penny raised will help break down barriers, open doors and support young people to build the confidence and skills they need to find work.

Please help me support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace to Palace challenge and sharing my page to double the impact. A donation of £26 could cover the cost of travel for an isolated young person to attend a one-week King’s Trust course, helping them build vital skills and gain valuable work experience.

My Updates

50 Miles, a Numb Bum & Raising a Sum

Tuesday 29th Sep
Some people may or may not know, I have a habit of taking on the odd challenge. This one appeared alongside a perfectly sensible walking option, so naturally I ignored that and signed myself up for the slightly more bottom-breaking 50-mile Palace to Palace cycle ride instead. Whilst it does say a walking challange I have defected with a bike with no suspension, and British roads with no mercy.

Questionable decisions aside, it’s for a genuinely good reason. The King’s Trust supports young people who haven’t always had the opportunities, confidence or support that many of us take for granted. None of us are good at everything, and sometimes all someone needs is a bit of guidance, encouragement and a chance to find what they are good at.

So, on 4 October, I’ll be dragging myself (and my backside) through 50 miles in the hope of raising a few quid for a brilliant cause.

If you can spare anything, big or small, I’d really appreciate it. And if you can’t, at least enjoy the thought of me regretting this somewhere around mile 35.
