Cycling miles & miles on Sunday 4 October for change

On 4th October, my birthday — a date normally reserved for booze and tbh amazement — I'll be cycling across London and Surrey hills with Palace to Palace, in aid of The King's Trust.
the bottom line: nearly a million young people in the UK are out of work. The King's Trust (formerly The Prince's Trust — same charity, grade promotion) provides long-term support and tailored programmes that help young people build the skills and confidence to get into work. All monies go towards breaking down barriers that in a proper world should never exist in the first place.
And here's what your wonga buys: £26 covers travel for an isolated young person to attend a one-week King's Trust course — a week of real skills and real work experience. Which, pound for pound, is considerably better value than a lot of the crap we normally waste our cash on.
So the deal is this: I supply the post middle-aged pain and miles on a saddle designed by a misanthrope. You supply the sponsorship. Young people get actual opportunities. Everyone and everything beyond my arse is a winner
Donate, share the page, and if you're feeling generous, both. Think of it as my 63rd birthday present — but one that rightly helps someone else entirely
