I'm cycling miles on Sunday 4 October to change young lives!

At a time where almost a million young people in the UK are out of work, The King’s Trust are committed to ending youth unemployment, and I’m doing my part by taking on Palace to Palace! I’ve challenged myself to cycle 50/100 miles across London and raise funds to help young people get into work.

The King's Trust (formerly known as The Prince’s Trust) is a youth charity providing long-term support and tailored programmes that empower young people across the UK to transform their lives. Every penny raised will help break down barriers, open doors and support young people to build the confidence and skills they need to find work.

Please help me support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace to Palace challenge and sharing my page to double the impact. A donation of £26 could cover the cost of travel for an isolated young person to attend a one-week King’s Trust course, helping them build vital skills and gain valuable work experience.

My Updates

50 miles to go....

Sunday 12th Jul
Like a lot of people, I really got into my cycling during lockdown. Back then, getting out on two wheels was my escape, my sanity, and my main source of freedom. But as the world opened back up and normal life resumed, the bike shifted from a source of fun to a tool for utility. For the last few years, my cycling has been strictly limited to the daily commute. A to B. Stop and start. No adventure, no real challenge—just a way to get to work.
I realized I wanted to change that. I missed the thrill of the open road, the feeling of accomplishment, and the simple joy of riding just for the sake of it. I needed something to push me out of my comfort zone and help me reclaim my fitness.
Enter the Palace to Palace Classic 50-Mile Cycle.
On Sunday, 4th October 2026, I’ll be lining up on The Mall in central London, clipping into my pedals, and riding 50 miles to the finish festival at Battersea Park. It’s going to test my legs, but I cannot wait.
As much as this started as a personal challenge to shake up my routine, the real heartbeat of this ride is the charity. Palace to Palace 2026 is an incredibly special event—it marks 50 years of The King’s Trust (formerly The Prince’s Trust) changing young lives.
Knowing that my sweat and sore muscles are contributing to giving a young person a fairer shot at life—by helping them get into education, training, or work—is the best fuel I could ask for when the hills get steep.
The Fundraising Goal: I’ve committed to raising money for this incredible cause as I push myself to the limit. If you’d like to support my journey, cheer me on, or just fund my upcoming need for padded cycling shorts, you can donate to my page here: [Link to your fundraising page]. Every little bit helps!
