Me VS 10,000 steps

At a time when 900,000 young people in the UK are out of work – enough to form the UK’s third biggest city! The King’s Trust are committed to ending youth unemployment, and I’m doing my bit to support.

I am taking on the Future Steps challenge – completing 10,000 steps a day throughout February and raising vital funds to support young people across the UK.

A donation of just £12 could fund a call to The King's Trust helpline, enabling a young person facing adversity to gain the critical advice they need.

Every penny raised will help break down barriers, open doors and support young people to build the confidence and skills they need to find work. Please consider donating to my page.

Thank you.

Why I’m Taking on the Future Steps Challenge
I have just signed up for Future Steps, a 10,000-steps-a-day challenge throughout February to support The King’s Trust.
The Goal
I am committing to walk, run, or roll 10,000 steps every single day from February 1st to February 28th. This isn't just about personal fitness; it’s about raising vital funds to help young people across the UK who are facing adversity.
Why it Matters
Right now, nearly 900,000 young people in the UK are out of work. Many are struggling with their mental health or lack the confidence and skills to find a stable path forward. The King’s Trust provides the tools, training, and mentorship these individuals need to build a career or start a business.
How Your Donation Helps
I am aiming to raise £100 (or more) to support this cause. To put that in perspective:
£12 can fund a call to a helpline for a young person in crisis.
£26 can cover travel costs for a young person to attend a week-long skills course.
£100 can provide the essential equipment a young entrepreneur needs to launch their first business.
Follow My Progress
I’ll be tracking my steps daily via the Future Steps app. Every step I take—and every pound you donate—helps break down barriers for the next generation.
Please consider donating to my page. Every contribution makes a difference.
