I'm walking miles on Sunday 4 October to change young lives!

At a time where almost a million young people in the UK are out of work, The King’s Trust are committed to ending youth unemployment, and I’m doing my part by taking on Palace to Palace! I’ve challenged myself to walk a half marathon across London and raise funds to help young people get into work.

The King's Trust (formerly known as The Prince’s Trust) is a youth charity providing long-term support and tailored programmes that empower young people across the UK to transform their lives. Every penny raised will help break down barriers, open doors and support young people to build the confidence and skills they need to find work.

Please help me support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace to Palace challenge and sharing my page to double the impact. A donation of £26 could cover the cost of travel for an isolated young person to attend a one-week King’s Trust course, helping them build vital skills and gain valuable work experience.

My Updates

When You Hear the Words Dan Carlin, I Know What Your First Thought Is... Marathon.

Monday 3rd Aug

Let's be honest, "marathon runner" is probably one of the last things you'd associate with me. This profile picture was brought to you by AI, so let's lower expectations slightly and call it a half marathon... with a bit of walking involved!

Despite that, I'll still be covering 13.1 miles across London to raise money for The King's Trust.

The King's Trust helps young people aged 11-30 build confidence, develop life skills, access training and find work, helping them create more stable and fulfilling futures.

Your donation could help:

  • £20 could provide an hour with an experienced youth worker, building a young person's confidence and resilience.
  • £55 could provide expert mentoring for a young person running a struggling new business.
  • £100 could contribute towards specialist equipment that helps a young person start a lifelong career.

So while I tackle 13 miles of London streets, you can help support young people on their own journeys.

Every donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support and wish me luck... I suspect I'll need it around mile 10! 🏃‍♂️😅
