Me VS 10,000 steps
I’m taking on Steps to Success this month for The King’s Trust – taking on 10,000 steps a day to help transform the lives of young people in the UK.
Almost 1 million young people are out of work in the UK. From the cost of living crisis to an unprecedented lack of opportunity, young people face a range of difficulties in today’s society. The King’s Trust supports young people, many of who have faced disadvantage and adversity, to develop the confidence and skills they need to move into work, education and training.
The money raised by taking on this challenge and fundraising for The King's Trust will make a positive difference for young people across the UK:
- £10 could fund a call to The King's Trust helpline, enabling a vulnerable young person to gain the critical advice they need.
- £20 could pay for a young person to receive support from an experienced King’s Trust youth worker for an hour.
- £50 could help The King’s Trust cover the costs of a young person’s first month of travel to work, unlocking opportunities and inspiring careers.
- £100 could contribute towards the specialist equipment that opens up a lifelong career for 1 young person on the margins of society.
So, whether it’s indoors or outdoors, walking, running or rolling, it all goes toward supporting the cause. Every step, and every penny, really does count. Please help me to support The King’s Trust by donating to my page.
