I'm cycling miles on Sunday 4 October to change young lives!
At a time where almost a million young people in the UK are out of work, The King’s Trust are committed to ending youth unemployment, and I’m doing my part by taking on Palace to Palace! I’ve challenged myself to cycle 50/100 miles across London and raise funds to help young people get into work.
The King's Trust (formerly known as The Prince’s Trust) is a youth charity providing long-term support and tailored programmes that empower young people across the UK to transform their lives. Every penny raised will help break down barriers, open doors and support young people to build the confidence and skills they need to find work.
Please help me support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace to Palace challenge and sharing my page to double the impact. A donation of £26 could cover the cost of travel for an isolated young person to attend a one-week King’s Trust course, helping them build vital skills and gain valuable work experience.

My Updates
Palace to Palace Ultra, Sunday 4 October
Friday 21st AugOn Sunday 4 October I am riding the King’s Trust Palace to Palace Ultra. One hundred miles, starting on The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace and finishing in Battersea Park. A year ago I would have said that was somebody else’s ride. Since then I have been commuting by bike, walking around six miles a day, doing short strength sessions at home and pushing one long ride a week further and further. My longest so far is 73 miles. Nothing dramatic, just the same few things done over and over, which as it turns out is how most things get built.
I am riding for the King’s Trust because I have spent my working life around small businesses, and I know how much difference one person taking a chance on you makes. Plenty of capable young people never get that chance, and the Trust exists to open that door through training, mentoring and support into work. This is their 50th year. My entry and kit are paid for out of my own pocket, so every pound you sponsor goes straight to them. A tenner is a tenner, and it buys you the pleasure of picturing me somewhere near Richmond, wishing I had eaten sooner. Thank you.

Good on you Colin. The govt can’t seem to support people getting into work so it’s good you are! This donation is on the basis you do the full 100 miles, no backing down 😉
