My Updates
I’m Taking on a Challenge!
Saturday 5th SepOn Sunday 4th October, Tony and I will be taking part in The King’s Trust Palace to Palace Half Marathon — a 13 mile walk to raise money for The King’s Trust.
This challenge is especially meaningful to me because I have 2 total knee replacements, before these operations simple everyday tasks were difficult and painful, so walking 13 miles is certainly going to test me and my ‘bionic’ knees, but I’m determined to complete the walk by putting one foot in front of the other alongside Tony, whilst supporting this great cause and taking in some London landmark sights along the way.
Tony and I really enjoy our walks, it gives us an opportunity to chit chat along the way, taking in and appreciating our surroundings and we are seeing the health benefits and it doesn’t cost us anything.
The Kings Trust does incredible work in supporting young people build their confidence, skills, gain employment and their future careers, and we would really like to support this charity as much as we can.
If you’re able to sponsor us no matter how small a donation, everything will be going to this great cause.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post and your support. ❤️
