I'm cycling miles to change young lives from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle

On Sunday 5 October, I will be taking part in Palace to Palace and cycling 45 or 90 miles from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle and raising fund for the King’s Trust.

The King's Trust has tailored programmes and provides long-term support give young people the practical skills and emotional resilience to pick themselves back up and create their own positive futures.

Following a cost of living crisis and pandemic which impacted their education, early careers and wellbeing, there are now almost 1 million young people not currently in work, education or training.

Please help me to support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace to Palace cycle ride and sharing my page. Just a £20 donation could provide one young person with an inspiring two hours of work experience in a stable job in a thriving sector

My Updates

The day before...

Saturday 4th Oct
So two really awesome things happened today.
First thing this morning I went to the store to pick up my post race protein meal. Told the guy about the race, and he wished me luck, but also measured out extra protein, that would have cost £13 but he let me have it for £10, said to give me the extra push on the event!

Next random act of kindness came from Chelse Bikes. I was cleaning the bike and installing new brake pads, as I installed I checked for braking, but the wheel span and then stopped... realising that it was stopping in roughly the same place, and the rear wheel had a bit of a wobble on, my rear wheel was out of true...
Panicking I looked up local bike stores and even a call out option.
Messaged Chelsea Bikes and they said, sure, bring it over. They were busy with other repairs, but because I'd advised them of the event and that it was urgent, the main guy came out, and in 5 minutes he'd sorted the rear wheel! Absolute magician bike mechanic!

So yeah, couple of random acts of kindness that were so appreciated. And I'm ready for the event tomorrow morning!
