Walking down the coast

After being completely soaked to skin on Thursday lunchtime I’m glad today it’s dry. Watching the birds on the shore with the sun trying to appear it’s quite relaxing listing to the waves. I’ve just seen a swan flying and landing which is unusual for the sea.

Meon valley trail

Today I fancied a change of scenery so I’m walking the old Meon Valley railway line for the first time !

We're facing 10,000 steps a day in February

We are taking on the Future Steps challenge this February for The King's Trust – facing 10,000 steps a day to help transform the lives of young people in the UK.

From the cost of living crisis to an unprecedented lack of opportunity, young people face a range of difficulties in today’s society. The King's Trust is committed to helping them. Working in a variety of areas, including training, education and emotional wellbeing, to ensure that people from all backgrounds get the support they deserve. A donation of just £10 could fund a call to The King's Trust helpline, enabling a vulnerable young person to gain the critical advice they need.

So, whether it’s indoors or outdoors, walking, running or rolling, it all goes toward supporting the cause. Every step, and every penny, really does count. Please help me to support The Kings’s Trust by sponsoring us and sharing our page.
