I am taking on 50,000 steps a week to end youth unemployment

I’m taking on Steps to Success in May for The King’s Trust – I will be doing 50,000 steps a week to help transform the lives of young people in the UK.

At a time when 900,000 young people in the UK are out of work – enough to form the UK’s third biggest city, The King’s Trust are committed to ending youth unemployment, and I’m doing my bit to support.

The money raised by taking on this challenge and fundraising for The King's Trust will make a positive difference for young people across the UK:

  • £12 could fund a call to The King's Trust helpline, enabling a vulnerable young person to gain the critical advice they need.
  • £26 could cover the cost of travel for an isolated young person to attend a one-week King's Trust course, helping them build vital skills and gain valuable work experience.
  • £35 could help buy smart interview clothes to help a young person land a job.
  • £55 could provide a young person managing a struggling new business with expert mentoring.

So, whether it’s indoors or outdoors, walking, running or rolling, your money will go a long way in supporting the cause. Every step, and every penny, really does count. Please help me to support The King’s Trust and consider donating to my page.

Thank you.

A bit about me

Friday 1st May

I want to do a steps challenge as a simple way to stay more active and improve my overall health. It’s an easy goal to fit into daily life, whether that’s walking more, taking the stairs, or getting outside for fresh air. Tracking my steps will help keep me motivated, and I like the idea of building a consistent habit while also boosting my energy and clearing my mind.
