I'm walking miles to change young lives

On Sunday 5th October, I will be taking part in The Palace Walk. I will be walking 13.1 miles around Windsor to help young people create a better future for themselves.

The King's Trust has tailored programmes and provides long-term support give young people the practical skills and emotional resilience to pick themselves back up and create their own positive futures.

Following a cost of living crisis and pandemic which impacted their education, early careers and wellbeing, there are now almost 1 million young people not currently in work, education or training, equivalent to the third largest city in the UK. At The Trust we know the devastating impact of unemployment on young people’s mental health, broader wellbeing, and confidence in achieving their aspirations in life. 

Please help me to support The King's Trust by sponsoring my Palace Walk and sharing my page. Just a £20 donation could provide a young person with an experienced youth worker for an hour, building their confidence, resilience and motivation during this time.

This year, I’ve decided to take part in the King’s Trust Palace to Palace Walk — a journey that’s not just about the miles, but about making a real difference.

The King’s Trust has always stood out to me because of the work it does in helping young people build brighter futures. From offering training and mentorship, to helping them find meaningful careers or even start their own businesses, the charity gives opportunities to those who might otherwise be left behind.

Walking Palace to Palace is my way of showing support. It’s a chance to challenge myself, step out of my routine, and raise vital funds so that the King’s Trust can continue opening doors for young people. Every step I take is for those who need a hand to believe in themselves and chase their potential.

I know times are tough, but even the smallest donation can make a big impact. Together, we can help young people turn ambition into achievement.
