I’m cycling, walking and walking again (with a grumpy teenager!) to help end youth unemployment.
I am on my third year raising funds for the King's Trust. Why do I do it? Because I'm inspired by their mission and their work. At a time where in the UK there are more than 1 million young people not in education, employment, or training,  their work is more important than ever. They reach the most disadvantaged in society and in their 50 years of history, they have raised £11.2bn worth of social value.Â
Yet I know that I have asked for your money before, so this time I really want to make it count.Â
I am doing three events for the Trust this year:Â
1. On the 4th of October with 50 colleagues of mine, I am doing a 50mile bike ride - given that when I last did this 2 years ago I ended with a bruised ribs and a shoulder injury that I haven't yet recovered from... I'm quite proud of myself for agreeing to do this!Â
2. On the 11th of October, I'm walking 20 miles with a group of over 50 other Trust supporters. I have a wedding on the 10th so that's the extra challenge for the walk!Â
3. And on the 16th of October - I will be walking 20 miles again with my 14 year old daughter, Gabi, as she also wants to raise funds for the TrustÂ
Hopefully this is enough for you to consider to spare a few pounds. Every £ counts so give if and what you can.Â
Thank youÂ
