Steps challenge 2025 - complete ✅️

Whoohooo February steps challenge is complete 💪 😃 I knew I wouldn't be able to stop at 10k steps a day and I knew i would drain myself trying to get as many steps for the month as possible! I really pushed hard and made it to my personal goal of being in the top 10 of steppers for the company, just behind my team mate Pat, not bad for desk based support staff 🤓 Fundraising for these things is always really hard after running marathons in the past 🏃‍♀️ but I do very much appreciate those who have sponsored me - Thank you 🙏 and the company as a whole has raised a fantastic £45k for a really great charity. I look forward to seeing what the total raised across all taking part is. Whilst the event is tiring for people like me who can't help taking it too far it is great for getting out there moving both for yourself and going out for walks with work mates and getting to know each other. Always such great mental health benefits from taking that break for a walk, especially when the sun starts to shine 💕 Big well done to everyone who took part. Same time next year? Lets see! #thekingstrust #futuresteps #readyforarestnow https://lnkd.in/erxPnhbR

Good start

A good start to the challenge with the advantage of being on holiday by the sea 🤗

We're facing 10,000 steps a day in February

We are taking on the Future Steps challenge this February for The King's Trust – facing 10,000 steps a day to help transform the lives of young people in the UK.

From the cost of living crisis to an unprecedented lack of opportunity, young people face a range of difficulties in today’s society. The King's Trust is committed to helping them. Working in a variety of areas, including training, education and emotional wellbeing, to ensure that people from all backgrounds get the support they deserve. A donation of just £10 could fund a call to The King's Trust helpline, enabling a vulnerable young person to gain the critical advice they need.

So, whether it’s indoors or outdoors, walking, running or rolling, it all goes toward supporting the cause. Every step, and every penny, really does count. Please help me to support The Kings’s Trust by sponsoring us and sharing our page.
