I'm walking miles to change young lives

Hi, I’m Anda 👋

On Sunday 5th October, I’ll be taking part in The Palace Walk, a 13.1-mile walk around Windsor, to raise money for The King’s Trust.

I moved to the UK from Romania when I was 10. I went to school, college and uni here, so I know firsthand how tough it can be for young people to find their feet and build a future when opportunities feel limited. That’s why this cause means so much to me.

The King’s Trust runs programmes that give young people practical skills, confidence, and long-term support to help them turn their lives around. Right now, almost 1 million young people in the UK are not in work, education or training — that’s the size of the UK’s third biggest city. The impact on their wellbeing, confidence and futures is huge, but The Trust is here to change that.

I’m proud to be doing this walk through Sky, alongside colleagues who all share the same goal: to raise money and create more opportunities for young people.
