From Couch to Charity: A Midlife Adventure for a Great Cause!
Friday 31st JanHello everyone!
Paul here, a late mid-40s, “slightly” out-of-condition male, who’s sporting peak may well have been earlier in this millennium. Finer details aside, during the month of February I will be embarking on an exciting (and highly competitive) step challenge to raise money for the King's Trust Future Steps charity. Now, I know what you're thinking, and although I’m no marathon man, I'm determined to make a difference!
The King's Trust Future Steps charity is all about giving young people the chance to succeed, no matter their background or the challenges they face. They help young people from disadvantaged communities build the confidence and skills they need to live, learn, and earn. Their support ranges from essential life skills courses to job readiness programs, helping individuals aged 11 to 30 find work and lead more stable, fulfilling lives.
I understand that times are tough, and not everyone can contribute financially. But if you can spare a little, your support would mean the world to me and the young people who benefit from this fantastic charity. And if you can't donate, no worries – virtually cheering me on from the sidelines is just as valuable!
So, join me on this adventure as I swap the couch for walking shoes and take on this challenge for a great cause. Let's make a difference together!
Thank you for your support!
