I’m taking on the Future Steps challenge this February for The King’s Trust – walking 10,000 steps a day to help transform the lives of young people in the UK. As an American living in London, I'm grateful for the opportunity to give back to the local communities here which have welcomed me with open arms and quickly become my home. 

From the cost of living crisis to an unprecedented lack of opportunity, young people face a range of difficulties in today’s society. The King’s Trust supports young people who have faced disadvantage and adversity to develop the confidence and skills they need to move into work, education and training. A donation of just £10 could fund a call to The King's Trust helpline, enabling a vulnerable young person to gain the critical advice they need.
