I’m taking part in Million Makers, raising funds for The King’s Trust.

The King’s Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed, no matter what their background or the challenges they are facing. The recent Class of Covid report reveals almost half of young people in the UK (49%) feel anxious about their future on a daily basis, with more than a third (35%) feeling that their life is spiralling out of control.

The courses offered by The Trust help young people aged 11-30 to develop essential life skills, get ready for work, access job opportunities and create a brighter future for themselves.

Cycling Hadrian's Wall!

Friday 8th Nov
In order to raise funds for the Kings Trust I will be cycling Hadrian's Wall! 

As part of the Million Makers project each graduate must undertake a fundraising activity and I have decided to… cycle the route of Hadrian’s Wall.

 

I will be cycling the route within a team of 5 on the 16th November (just in time for the cold). This 80-mile cycle will take two days starting at Port Carlisle and finishing at Tyneside on completing around 40-miles per day.
