I'm cycling miles to change young lives from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle

On Sunday 5 October, I will be taking part in Palace to Palace and cycling 45 (was 90 miles - but injury means no chance!) from Buckingham Palace to Windsor Castle and raising funds for the King’s Trust. This is more distance than I cycled in 2022-July 2025... totalled. So those of you who know me may know I've done this before but suddenly it's quite daunting again.

Doing this for a cause beyond "it's just for fun" is the motivation I need to get out in the rain and do training rides.

The King's Trust has tailored programmes and provides long-term support to give young people the practical skills and emotional resilience to pick themselves back up and create their own positive futures.

Following a cost of living crisis and pandemic which impacted their education, early careers and wellbeing, there are now almost 1 million young people not currently in work, education or training.
